Announcing Free Trolley Rides For County Employees Announcing Free Trolley Rides For County Employees

On May 1, the Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) will launch a new type of trolley service that’s designed especially for jurors, workers and visitors in the downtown area with expanded trips to restaurants, the courthouse, City Hall and other places of interest.

The ambitious service utilizes two separate trolley routes, the Red Line and Green Line. General fare is 25 cents with free rides granted to county and city employees, jurors and individuals carrying a valid parking receipt. While on board, trolley riders can pick up special coupons to participating restaurants in the downtown area.

A special kick-off ceremony will be held May 1 at 9 a.m. in front of City Hall at the intersection of 10th and Main streets. As part of the promotion, rides on the trolleys will be free to all passengers through May 4, courtesy of the Riverside Downtown Partnership.  For more information you can read the two flyers below.
