Rewards and Benefits

Dollar Wise, What

Since 1988, the Riverside County Transportation Commission’s (RCTC) Commuter Assistance Program has provided up to $2 a day in gift certificates from the Galleria or Stater Bros for a three-month period to western Riverside County residents who want to begin a new ridesharing arrangement. Additionally, after three months, ridesharing commuters may sign up for CLUB RIDE, which provides a 20% discount at participating restaurants and a 50% discount at entertainment centers.

Both incentive programs are free to western Riverside County commuters. Funded by Measure A, the half-cent sales tax initiative passed by 79% of the voters to reduce traffic congestion.
